About
Human first
I have a background in both Art and Technology, which shapes how I approach UI development—balancing aesthetics with clarity, usability, and performance.
I’ve delivered solutions across government, non-profits, finance, gambling, IoT, education, and eCommerce, working with organisations such as Amdocs, New Horizon Refugee & Asylum Seeker, Gambling.com, Netcelero, Microsoft, and a range of eCommerce platforms. My work spans bespoke enterprise systems, “shrink-wrapped” products used by thousands, and SaaS applications serving hundreds of thousands of users.
🔧 What I like to work with
- React / Next.js / React Native
- TypeScript / Zustand / Redux
- Node.js / Tailwind / styled-components / HTML5 / CSS3
- Data Visualization & Mapping: Recharts, D3.js, Leaflet, and Spatial Data (GeoJSON).
- TDD / Jest / Agile
I previously volunteered with Foróige Youth Organisation, mentoring young people in web development, creative coding, digital skills, and 3D printing. Alongside technical skills, I place a strong emphasis on digital literacy, community engagement, and visual storytelling.
Crafting a web app is like making great sushi: keeping simplicity in mind while mastering the complex art of making something simple.
I love discussing ideas, solving complex challenges with elegant solutions, and mastering the art of simplicity in development.
Outside of coding, I’m passionate about travel, architecture, and cultural exploration. This blog is part technical journal, part travel diary—featuring web development insights alongside stories from the places I’ve explored.
